KB Toys is coming back. Here's where and when you'll find it

Toys R Us

Toy's "R" Us will soon be no more, but another long-lost toy store could soon fill the void.

According to USA Today, the company's distribution centers will permanently close their doors before Toys R Us officially does, which means the company will have tons of merchandise it needs to move as quickly as possible. Efforts to merge up to 200 top-performing USA stores with its Canadian operations are also underway.

While we still believe Mattel's shares are significantly undervalued, we believe near-term headline risk surrounding the Toys "R" Us liquidation could continue to weigh on shares over the next several months before stability in share performance could resume.

"Toys already had like $5 billion of debt", said Adam D. Stein-Sapir of Pioneer Funding Group, which specializes in analyzing and investing in bankruptcy cases, and who is not involved in the case.

Toys R Us last week announced plans to close all 800 of its stores in the United States after filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy last fall.

- KB Toys, the chain of shopping mall stores that closed in 2009, is considering a comeback. At the time, Toys "R" Us pledged to keep its stores open, but a "devastating holiday season" made lenders skittish about investing in the company. The sales will start of on the lower end, around 25 percent, with an increase in discount happening in the coming weeks. Kids are still playing with toys, Lennett said, and parents will look to other retailers to purchase them. After that, you risk forfeiting any value on these cards.
