CSK fan breaches security to touch MS Dhoni's feet

#WhistlePodu leads tweet chart in IPL week 2

In the match on Friday, Australia's Shane Watson scored the second century of IPL 2018 as Chennai beat Rajasthan by 64 runs in Pune.

On Friday, during the Indian Premier League match between Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals- a Dhoni fan ran into the middle to touch his feet. The catalyst of this win was Shane Watson, who scored a brilliant hundred and then came back after playing nearly 20 overs to pick a wicket in his 3 overs while giving just 13 runs. He was dropped in the first over as Rahul Tripathi dropped a sitter at first slip, something the Royals were made to pay for.

Chasing a mammoth 205 for victory, the Royals got bundled out for a paltry 140 in 18.3 overs with Sharduk Thakur, Deepak Chahar, Dwayne Bravo and Karn Sharma ending up with two wickets each while Shane Watson and Imran Tahir got one wicket apiece.

Buttler and Stokes did get together, to put up 45-runs for the fourth wicket to spark some sort of a contest but then Bravo got Buttler off a slower ball to extinguish all hopes. If you field well and take the catches, it'll help.

Watson swung his arms when the ball was pitched outside off and positioned himself nicely against short and straight deliveries to find boundary after boundary.

For Royals to have any sort of a chance, they needed a bright start but CSK bowlers ensured that there weren't any easy runs on offer.

It was Rajasthan's third defeat in five games of this season.

Sixers continue cautious approach with injured center Joel Embiid
The open looks that the Sixers had while shooting an unbelievable 18 for 28 from three-point range in Game 1 suddenly vanished. Johnson had two points and seven rebounds in Game 1, while Ilyasova had 14 points and 11 rebounds in Game 2's losing effort.

Shreyas Gopal was the lone star for the Royals with the ball.

But Royals didn't have an answer to their former player, who was particularly brutal and was clearing boundaries at will.

However, all-rounder Ben Stokes, who was bought for a whopping Rs 12.5 crore, has failed to fire till now. At half-way mark, CSK were 107 for one.

Warne also praised his countryman Watson for his century.

There was no stopping Watson from the other end.

Every cricketing fan who was born in the 90's knows the name of Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
