Top aide to EPA chief Scott Pruitt resigns

Scott Pruitt directed EPA aide to help his wife find a job at Chick-fil-A adding to his ethical scandals

Pruitt and his aides also put out feelers among government and private contacts about interior decorator work for Pruitt's wife, according to Chmielewski, who says he was sacked from the agency after challenging some of Pruitt's spending.

U.S. President Donald Trump on Wednesday praised the job being done by Environmental Protection Agency chief Scott Pruitt, who is under fire over ethics and spending issues.

The cons outweigh the pros, wouldn't you say?

Two of Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Scott Pruitt's closest aides at the agency resigned on Wednesday, an EPA official confirms to CNN. She told the House panel that Pruitt had her ask about getting an "old mattress" from the Trump hotel at about the same time he was moving to a new apartment in Washington.

Hupp told lawmakers that Pruitt had her conduct numerous personal errands, including inquiring about buying a used mattress. She also signed off on $1,560 in custom fountain pens. But don't worry, it's all a part of the changes that the administration is making, according to Pruitt: "There's significant changes happening across, not only at the EPA, but across this administration and it's needed". (They weren't the only staffers to receive huge raises.) The Washington Post reported the next day, citing two unnamed sources, that Pruitt had his 24/7 security detail fetch his dry cleaning and, strangely, his favored moisturizer.

Star scores for Brazil on return from injury
Brazil instantly appeared more threatening, with the PSG man linking up quickly with Jesus. Brazil and Croatia are in Liverpool as they prepare for the World Cup later this month.

"I want to thank Administrator Pruitt for the opportunity to journey with him over the past six years, and I will always admire his visionary leadership and tenacity", Greenwalt said in a statement.

"According to one top EPA official", The Atlantic adds, Hupp, "was 'tired of being thrown under the bus by Pruitt, ' and weary of seeing her name constantly appear in headlines about the agency".

The EPA chief is the subject of several investigations into alleged ethical lapses. Questions have also mounted about a sweetheart real estate deal Pruitt had for a Capitol Hill condo that is co-owned by the wife of a top lobbyist, who had business before the EPA.

"I don't think it looks good but I like what the administrator has been doing from a policy perspective", he said.
