Epic will not reinstate Fortnite's Playground mode until next week

Fortnite players meeting at ‘the rocket’ for tomorrow’s first real time mystery event

"We're sorry we haven't been able to get you in the LTM, and we know waiting is the worst". It proved to be a brilliant way to practice your building, or just as a way to muck about, but mere hours after launch Epic Games was forced to pull the mode from the game.

50v50 was scheduled to enter the rotation today, June 29, at 7 AM PT / 10 AM ET; however, Epic announced on Twitter that it discovered "a few issues" with the mode and won't be enabling it just yet.

"We're continuing to test our matchmaking service improvements and are still aiming to release the Playground LTM as soon as possible". "Once we have confirmed that our testing was successful we will begin gradually rolling servers out to all regions and platforms until it's available to all players".

Since Playground was been removed, players have been clamouring for the return of the experimental game mode, asking Epic when the sandbox take on Fortnite is likely to return.

Salah´s Egypt leave World Cup winless after late Saudi defeat
Egypt failed to advance to the knockout stage of the World Cup after losing all three of their group-stage matches. Kadyrov declared Salah to be an honorary citizen of Chechnya in a ceremony with the player.

That's right, Fortnite is having a big event on Saturday and, if you're not in the game, you're going to miss it.

This would go live for Season 5 and would mean major changes to the game. Hopefully Epic has some more encouraging news to share later on in the day, because there have been a string of updates so far that don't say anything more than "we're still working on resolving these issues".

Resources gathered grant 10x the normal rate. The developer has now pulled the mode from all versions of the game while it finds a workaround, but regular BR modes are still accessible.
